Weekend tips of week 31

Almost weekend! The sun will show itself more often. So time for the best weekend tips of week 31. Last week I shared all kinds of tips with you.

Because of the summer storm, many events were cancelled. Bit of a shame but the more we look forward to a new weekend. So this time new round, new opportunities.

Now with sunshine?

Kermis Wateringen

The party weeks are still following each other. A few more to go before the end of the summer holidays. In Wateringen you can enjoy the fair until Saturday.

The merry-go-round, bumper cars’s and other attractions can be found at Plein and Vliethof. Always nice to do a round.

Floating Parade

Like every year you will find the Varend Corso in the Westland and surroundings. The parade consists of dozens of barges arranged with flowers, vegetables and fruit. The most beautiful creations pass by with the corresponding music. Especially with sunshine, great to watch. On Friday, July 31, the Corso sails from Naaldwijk to Vlaardingen during Rijnmond Day.

On Saturday, August 1, it’s the Westland’s turn. The last day is on Sunday, August 2, when the Corso sails to Delft. On the site of the Varend Corso you can find the route for each day.

Guaranteed to get you there in time to see all the boats go by.

Schollenpop Scheveningen

Saturday, August 1, you can enjoy a free festival on Scheveningen’s Zuiderstrand. With no less than 4 stages this festival gets bigger every year. The first band can be seen at 13.00hour. If you like music you should definitely visit the mainstage to see The Indien, Novastar and The Deaf live. On the facebook page of Schollenpop you can see the entire program.

Nice free outing for lovers.

Summer fair Hook of Holland

On Saturday and Sunday you can find the annual summer fair in the center of Hoek van Holland. From 10.00h to 17.00h you can browse all the stands and stalls and make some nice summer purchases.
